The Romanian Athenaeum becomes, on 9–10 May 2026, the meeting point for an important international cultural gathering dedicated to artistic exchange, collaboration, and excellence in the performing arts.

The event is organized by ARTEXIM, a public institution under the Romanian Ministry of Culture and a member of leading international organizations, including the European Association of Artist Managers (AEAA), the European Festivals Association (EFA), the International Artist Managers’ Association (IAMA), the World Federation of International Music Competitions, and the Alink-Argerich Foundation.

ARTEXIM is the organizer of the George Enescu International Festival, recognized in 2021 as the world’s largest classical music festival, as well as the George Enescu International Competition, a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions since 2002 and the only competition in Romania held under its standards.

Its portfolio includes major international projects such as the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2022, cultural events during Romania’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union (2019), the European Union Youth Orchestra auditions, the International Composers’ Forum, and the RadiRo Festival.

With over 800 collaborations worldwide, ARTEXIM continues to deliver cultural events at the highest international standards, develop strategic management projects, foster global partnerships, and provide tailored consultancy for cultural initiatives.

The event is realized in partnership with the George Enescu Philharmonic, one of Romania’s leading symphonic institutions.
